Rogue Farming in Scarlet Monastery

Went in today to SM, was curious to what they had supposedly dropped the vendor sell rates to from Arcanist Doan drops.
Stealthed in real fast killed him, got mantle and rod.
Decided while i was in SM and since i was level 46 now, I would try to solo the High inquisitor in the Cathedral Instance.
With a quick 5 point combo kidney punch and first aid, I was able to beat him, but I had only 200 hp out of 2300 left. But he dropped 4 green items.
Went back to Menethil and sold all the items for about 4.5g total.
Doans Mantle sold for 70s and the rod sold for 1.5g
Evidently they did NOT nerf this.
Here is a full strat for making 5g+ a run for well geared level 45-46+ Rogues.
Solo - without a group, zone into Arcanists Doan instance, dont worry about chests in this instance as you would need a partner to help you get them.
Stealth all the way to Doan, engage (i use rupture as a sword rogue, but you can ambush for first hit too for a nice starting out dmg) when he is at 1/2 life he will start casting his big AE spell. Make sure when he gets to that point u have him on the far left side of room fighting there. When he starts casting and Emotes something about burning in the fires of hell, Run/sprint to the opposite wall to avoid the AE. Run back, finish killing and loot up.
Next part - Zone into Cathedral Instance, i usually stealth up the left side of fountain as i find the chest is on the left more so than the right. Get on top of the chest and target the one NPC by it. Wait til all wanderers have just moved out of agro range, sap the chest guard, loot the chest and vanish.
Go up to the doors (you need to be 45+ to be able to do this) stand in the exact center of cathedral doors and open them, at 45+ the mobs from either side will not agro.
Stealth in and to the right, there is a room in the far back right of cathedral with one NPC in there. You have about a 50/50 chance of the 2nd chest being in this room, other times it is guarded by 3 NPCs and unattainable by a solo rogue. Kill this NPC, make sure you have cripple poison or time a kidney punch becaause it will run outside at low health and agro other NPCs.
After he is dead loot the chest if its there and right click the candl holder on the back wall to open the secret door to inquisitor.
I start inquisitor fight off with a cheap shot because he is not immune to stuns, I then alternate between kidney shots and eviscerates, usually evisc first, then using first aid on my first kidney shot (have to time it just right). Killing him he drops an average of 3-4 green items. once he is dead, stealth out.
Total time for me to do this is about 10 minutes, with all chest loot and boss drops you should have 1 blue item and 4-6 green items, sometimes more of each as chests can give blue items too.
All the items together with chest loot can sell for 5g+
I empty my bags of everything except 30 flash powder, thieves tools, hearth stone, mount, 20 cripple poison, 20 instant poison 4’s for DPS, 2 stacks of bandages and 1 stack of 5 superior healing potions (just in case)
To reset the instance for the next time, I have a friend invite me to a group, which resets the instance, I do it with him in group but off doing his own thing, do the instances again, come out, have him BOOT you from group, then re-invite you and this will rese the instance, can do it with you as leader also, but you HAVE to BOOT the person in the party before you reinvite or the instance will not reset.
All in all, in about 1 hour of farming you can make 30ish gold or more depeinding on what drops.
Also its ok xp for farming. At level 46, in rested Doan was giving 1100ish xp and High Inquisitor was giving around 1400+
So all you rogues, back to farming !!
