Last year many of you including myself witnessed the invasion of World of Warcraft into traditional media through the use of South Park. The hilarious Matt Stone and Trey Parker summoned forth one of the greatest episodes in South Park history and combined it with some of the best machinima around. The boys from South Park invade World of Warcraft and do it in their usual no holds barred style!

I’d definitely recommend this to any World of Warcraft or South Park fan it’ll be treasured for years to come and it can also make a fabulous gift. The rest of the episodes in this season are really good as well. I’d say it’s one of the better seasons in the last few at the very least. There are episodes about the Nintendo Wii, the return of Chef to South Park and Al Gore fighting a Manbearpig? There are lots of great stuff in this season and you’ll probably laugh till you cry for sure!

The WoW South Park Episode “Make Love Not Warcraft”

In the WoW episode of South Park the boys all start playing World of Warcraft as alliance characters and stop going outside to do much of anything. As the boys are leveling up a mage griefer, who has learned to bypass Blizzard’s rules of the game by playing every hour of every day since the game was released, repeatedly kills the boys so they can’t accomplish any quests or level up.
All the boys of South Park finally give up and stop playing the game. But Cartman tells Stan, Kyle and Kenny “You can stand here and toss a ball around… or you can sit at your computer, and do something that matters.” So they come up with a plan to kill low level boars repeatedly to minuscule amounts of experience 21 hours a day while hiding from the mage. The boys live on a diet of Hot Pockets and Rockstar energy drinks and all become overweight and develop horrible acne. However, they accomplish their goal of leveling up, so fast even that Blizzard begins to notice and thinks that they may stand a chance at stopping the mage griefer.
The boys then begin a 17 hour long campaign against the griefer but the Blizzard execs know it can’t be successful and decide they must help them. They find the Sword of A Thousand Truths, a sword so powerful it was removed from the game and stored on a flash drive in the Blizzard offices. They try to take this to the boys knowing that only it combined with the now powerful boys can stop the griefer. They try to take the sword to the boys but can’t find them and end up having to give it to the noob Randy, Stan’s dad, who finally is able to log into WoW at a Best Buy demo. Randy finally finds the boys and gives them the sword which they use to defeat the griefer in grand fashion.

Ultimately I think this is one of the best South Park episodes ever and I guarantee that any fan of World of Warcraft will absolutely love it and want to watch it over and over again!
