Build 1: The Mixed Bag
This build is a mixed bag of fun stuff from all three tree’s. It mixes solid defense, solid offense, with spot healing to make a build that can fill in almost any role. I really enjoyed this build and had the most fun with it when I got Thrash Blade. If you want to be able to tank in the mid levels and still have decent damage this is probably the build for you.

Build 2: The Leveler Version A
This is classic Retrib build folks. You want to level fast and spend alot of time solo this is the build for you. XP per minute only one other build will match this build. With that said it also makes a good support Paladin in raids do to decent damage and BoK. It’s easy to saturate a group with these though. When you are grouped realize this is a build where you often have to fill in as Main Tank for a 5 man party. You’re not the best tanking build but you can do the trick when you have to for PvE encounters.
Contrary to popular belief this build is also good for Sword and Board not just 2-Her’s. When you start parsing DPS for 1-Hers you will be suprised at how solid the DPS is. You won’t get the burst damage of Seal of Command + a big 2-Her but you will get solid consistant DPS over time with a 1-Her with little down time. Focus on pulling 3+ mobs and nuking them with Consecration for max effectiveness.

Build 3: The Leveler Version B
Another classic Retrib build. You want to level fast and spend alot of time solo this is the build for you. XP per minute only one other build will match this build. With that said it also makes a good support Paladin in raids do to decent damage and BoK. It’s easy to saturate a group with these though. This is better then Version A when you don’t have to fill in as Main Tank. As main tank you should have a healer with this build you are able to act as a healer and if you already have a priest or a druid you can operate semi autonomously so he can focus on the MT. The 1 point in Revelation is arbitrary you can put that where ever you want. As an alternative you can move 5 points out of Improved Seal of Righteousness and into Redoubt if you are off-tanking alot.
Build 4: The Tank
So you think you want to tank huh? You got a dedicated healer and don’t need that free crit heal junk? You want aggro and you want it now? Fine here’s your build! We’ll dump that holy because in small group you have a dedicated healer and you will be trying to hold aggro. If you cast a heal the parties dead anyway since the healer bit it and you sucked as MT. In a Raid you’ll be Off-Tank or Main Assist at best though since you’ll never hold aggro like a Warrior.
You may wonder why know Reckoning … it’s bugged and can kill your group if you can’t attack for X time frame. So we won’t touch it. Why no Repentence? Well if you are PvP spec’d that’s one thing for Tanking it’s a differents story. Why Improved Retribution Aura over Precision? Well you need that aggro and Retribution Aura is a great way to hold it. Extra damage is awsome and you want those extra crits so you can proc Vengeance. Why no BoK? You want that Holy Shield for the extra blocking and damage, stick to level 1 Holy Shield though. You’ll eat through mana fast so you need to know how to conserve it, that’s why there is no Blessing of Sanctuary you’ll need BoW to keep your mana going. You holding aggro is more important then the minimal damage you will reduce with BoSanctuary if you want to discuss why BoSanctuary isn’t as helpful as you thought I’ll be glad to explain. If you really want it you might be able to grab one point from Retribution and survive
NOTE: Remember folks you can easily swap out 2-Hander Specialization with Improved Seal of the Crusader and vice versa. What ever trips your trigger. Both of those are non-critical to the build and depend entirely on the equipment you have when you are solo. ISotC is so nerfed now that it is only used for JotC if you have actually tested the DPS and you may want to consider using JoW instead so you can fire off more Holy Shields and/or Consecration instead of JotC. Think about it

Build 5: The Shockadin
Ok this really isn’t one of my ‘favorite builds’ but some folks love Holy Shock. I played with it and built around it. I found that it’s decent for PvP but for PvE consecration is by far the superior ability for a multitude of reasons. You want Holy Shock though and want a build to make it work? Here you go.
Some notes on the the Retribution points spent. Improved Blessing of Might vs. Benediction is a rough one. You will be using IBoW not IBoM but you will be using it on your buddies. You also won’t have consecration so you don’t have many Retribution spells to cast. So if you want Benediction you can grab it but I think as little value as IBoM provides it’s more valuable in this build then Benediction. Losing 1 point of Vengeance may be rough at first but you want that Seal of Command. One of those fun little combo’s is going to be Judging of the Crusader, Seal of Command, 2-Her, Sanctity Aura, Vengeance, and then Holy Shock. If you happen to land a Crit SoC you will do some insane Holy Damage for some huge burst damage. Yes it’s not something to rely on but in a PvP dual or when you are a support character that combo can drop a foe real fast when it does land.

Build 6: The Supportadin
What build am I using? Here it is. It’s not the end all be all. It fulfills my role in my guild raids better then any other build I can do. I am a support character. I spot heal, I bless, I judge, swap aura’s as needed, I take care of AoE’s, and I can split off from the group to do autonomous combat as needed. I am pure support and can crank out some pretty decent DPS due to taking advantage of Sanctity Aura, JotC, and Improved Seal of the Crusader.

Build 7: The Combat Nurse
Alright I’m not a real fan of this build and I really am leary of including it. I’ve simply not enjoyed the combination of Holy and Prot. You have to rely on Holy for your damage output and frankly it’s kinda painful without Retrib to bump your Holy Damage. If you are into playing the role of Combat Nurse though this build is great for healing and hard to kill. You have some play room with what abilities you do take though. You can swap out Holy Shock for Holy Shield if you want (you’ll really have to grab some points from Holy though). You can move some points around inside of Holy based on what you want (4 points really are manipulatable).
