Hunter Fighting Guide

For serious leveling
Assumption is that you’re killing things at or below your level. Preferably -1 or -2 below you. Here’s your kill sequence…

a) Send pet
b) Mark
c) Draw REGULAR SHOT (starts while mark cooldown happens)
d) Shoot serpent sting as soon as available
e) Finish mob with regular shot.
f) Approach to loot as mob is almost dead.

If you did it right, you’ll arrive just as your pet kills. Send pet to next mob, loot while pet starts fight, and repeat b-f.

For a single “tough” mob
a) Fire trap
b) Mark
c) Viper sting
d) Backup up, send pet so that pet intercepts just as mob hits the trap.
e) Continue with autoshot, replenish viper as needed.

For multiple “tough” mobs
a) Frost trap
b) Send pet
c) Mark
d) Auto shot
e) When all mobs are on pet… multishot
f) Continue killing primary mob
g) Use feign to transfer aggro back to pet
h) Use spirit bond to replenish health you’ve lost
