Everyone loves pets and everyone loves beholders or eye beasts or whatever you want to call them. That’s why we’re gonna have a look at
Sleepy Willy is one of the cool non-combat pets you can get in World of Warcraft. I personally think he’s probably up there as one of the coolest. To get Willy you must perform a quest for Orphan Matron Mercy during the seasonal Children’s Week event which is held each year at the beginning of May.
Willy is just one of the three pets you can choose once you’ve done the quest, the others being a baby elekk and a baby hawkstrider breaking out of a shell. Now as usually Willy just follows you around looking silly and doing a bunch of nothing else. However, one thing that makes Willy so cool is that he has an idle effect that will zap a nearby critter and kill it. AWESOME.
Generally though Willy is very peaceful and seems to suffer from narcolepsy. Anyway I know what I’ll be getting next Children’s Week if only he were available year round I wouldn’t have to wait while not having one of the coolest pets in the game!
